SHELL ECO-MARATHON
What is the Shell Eco-marathon?
Shell Eco-marathon is a global academic program that challenges students to design, build and operate energy-efficient vehicles.
At the heart of this competition is a challenge with highly relevant implications for society: how can we meet our mobility needs using the least amount of energy possible?

Tasked with creating a vehicle capable of answering this challenge, students put their design, technology and innovation skills to the test and become familiar with the use of cutting-edge technology and critical thinking by participating in both virtual challenges and track competitions.

Our participations
Americas 2023
Second lightest car
Being our first time participating in the competition, the team managed to raise the necessary funds to travel to Indianapolis and be the second lightest car in the entire competition.

Brazil 2024
Mexican Efficiency Record
In August 2023, the team visited the streets of Brazil for the first time and achieved 6th place in the category, being the only team to have passed the technical inspection on the first try and breaking the record for the most efficient Mexican car in the history of Shell Eco-marathon with an efficiency of 235 km/kWh.
Americas 2024
Lightest car on the continent
In April 2024, the team traveled to Indianapolis for the second time, but this time with the goal of achieving a top-five finish. During the competition, the team delivered its best-ever performance, once again breaking the Mexican efficiency record and achieving fourth place in the continent. The car weighed 30 kg, making it the lightest car in the entire competition.

Americas 2025
Consolidating the Top 4
At the Shell Eco-marathon in April 2025, our team achieved an excellent 4th place, proving to be among the best on the continent for two consecutive years. Our vehicle, weighing just 30 kg and among the lightest in the competition, was instrumental in achieving this achievement, demonstrating our dedication to efficiency and innovation in sustainable mobility.
