AETHON
Designed for efficiency.
AETHON
The team's second ever car. This car sought to make a leap forward in innovation and efficiency. The design focused on weight reduction and improved aerodynamic efficiency.

LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN
One of the focuses of this car was weight reduction. To achieve this, a carbon fiber monocoque was made using a sandwich material called "Coremat." Additionally, topological optimization was used to optimize the steering design, resulting in a final car weight of 30 kg.

HIGH AERODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY
Another key aspect of the car's efficiency is aerodynamics, which is why the goal is to reduce drag as much as possible. To achieve this, CFD simulations were performed in Ansys Fluent to obtain the lowest possible drag coefficient. The final result was a coefficient of 0.058.
